Thanks to the use of powerful wideband balanced armature drivers these earphones exhibit a small size and lightweight design delivering a sound signature that is clean, accurate and with added detail. Configurable Sound Signature
A selection of audio filters is included with the PFE 111s that allow the fine-tuning of the earphones sonic signature. By swapping the audio filters you can tune the sound to suit your musical taste. If you enjoy warm tones then choose the black filters, or if you prefer a brighter sound then go for the light grey filters which are included.

Wide Range of Accessories
Included in the package of the PFE 111 is a wide range of accessories. The package incorporates one audio filter box with six filters, Comply Foam Eartips and silicon eartips. Also enclosed is a cleaning tool for the eartips, silicon earguides and a carrying case.

High Level of Isolation
Fitted with the supplied Comply Foam Eartips the PFE 111 offers 23 decibels (dB) of sound isolation. Ambient noise is reduced for undisturbed and safe sonic enjoyment.

"The PFE in the product name stands for Perfect Fit Earphones, and it has to be said that Phonak isn’t making any unreasonable claims here. The Phonaks are extremely comfortable.

The PFEs have a strong but not boomy or overpowering low-end, a crisp, detailed high-end and a wonderful, smooth and balanced mid-range in-between. The sound-stage is about as wide as I’ve encountered from an IEM, and there’s a great, almost holographic sense of positioning.

The Phonaks also cope brilliantly with vocal-led tracks with relatively sparse instrumentation. There’s something about that creamy, warm mid-range that just works wonders with the human voice. There’s no problem, however, if your tastes run more to rock or pop. While there are more punchy IEMs around, the Phonaks’ rich, clear and balanced presentation did wonders for pretty much everything I threw at them, from Muse’s baroque rock to Maxwell’s retro soul."
