    Hi,

I have a pair of full size open-backed Sennheiser HD545 Reference headphones.

I'm going to be working away from home for a while and want to be able to take these headphones with me, but don't want to damage them in a suitcase etc.

Can anyone recommend a decent case that will protect my headphones please?

    Regards,
    David

    Hi ttarpd

I get asked this question a lot and the answer is unfortunate. Nobody makes great after market cases to the extent that we have considered having them made for the Hifiheadphones site. If there is not a specific manufacturer case then trying headphones in a case from another model is the only answer - most headphones are differently enough shaped for this to be a disappointing exercise.

To make your own great flight case measure your headphones and buy a suitable photography flight case, then visit a foam shop and have them cut a matching insert. I have seen great results from this method:)

Probably not the answer you were hoping for.
