    Hi!
I'm looking for a pair of new headphones since my old ones were in a "step-and-run by stranger at cinema" accident!
I have been surfing around a bit, but find it hard to settle on a pair....
I use my headphones everyday! Both for travelling to and from Uni, but also at the library for drowning other people out.. therefor I deff want some with as little noise leakage as possible.
Since I bring them with me almost everywhere comfort and cord length (not too long) is a priority, and I prefer a moveable body as opposed to a more stiff frame..but they also need to be quite tough, or at least not break too easily!.. beeing able to fold would be a plus.
I mostly listen to folk, indie, acoustic but also rock and electronic music.
my budget is generally anything below £110, but I'm willing to go up a bit.
    hope you can help me.

some of the headphones I have considered are:

    ULTRASONE HFI-580 CLOSED-BACK FOLDABLE HEADPHONE
    AUDIO-TECHNICA ATH-A500
    SHURE SRH440 PROFESSIONAL CLOSED-BACK HEADPHONES

hope you can offer me some advice:)

    Sabine

    Closed back circumaural headphones

    Welcome to the forum Sabine!

The Ultrasone HFI-580 and Shure SRH-440 would both be very good choices. The Audio-Technica ATH-A500 really is very large and only suitable for home listening.

If you can push the budget a little then the Audio-Technica ATH-M50 is also well worth considering. Check out some reviews of this excellent headphone.
