    Hi all,

I just purchased my ATH-ANC7b headphones. Very satisfied with the sound quality (awesome in active mode / medium in passive mode).

When going through the instruction manual, I noticed that ATH does not recommend using recharable AAA batteries. However, this would be much more cost effective and environmentally friendly. My only guess would be that recharge do not provide enough voltage, however, nowadays there are powerful ones out there.

Do you think using them would cause any damage to my headphones?

    Hi simpleme

I find it difficult to believe that they would harm the unit - I am guessing that their performance would be pretty poor in comparison to non-rechargeables. Give it a go and pass on the results:)
