I am cringing with embarassment as I ask this untrendy question! I need to buy some 'in ear sound isolating' earphones to listen to radio 4 whilst gardening. I am considering the PL11 or PL30; probably the latter as they look like they will stay in place better (when I am bending over to plant potatoes or some such).

Before I go ahead, do any of you experts have any comments or advice please.
    Many thanks.

Headphones for listening to the radio

Hi MaryM. Welcome to the forum. It's actually a really good question!

Yes, the SoundMAGIC PL11 or PL30 would both be fine for listening to the Radio. As you suggest the PL30 will stay more secure if you are gardening.

The over ear cabling with the PL30 does take some getting used to (make sure to use the toggle that slides up the cable to the back of the neck), but it really is a very secure fit. I now prefer earphones that have this cable fit.
