Can anyone recommend a good pair of earphones for under £40, mainly for dance music (bass and vocals)?

Earphones or headphones? Any preference for size or style?

Earphones. I just picked up a pair of M5s, but I'm getting no bass out of them.

They don't want to be totally bass heavy at the expense of everything else, but I listen to dance music a lot

Oops - just looked through my list - everything I know is fairly light in the bass until I get up to nearly twice the price. I have a t-Jays Four but I'm not familiar with the other Jays - one of those might work well. Anyway, someone else will have a suggestion in the next day or so.

You could try the Klipsh S4's as they can be had for £40 for the original ones not S4 II's. Only difference is they added in flat cables so don't tangle as easily. I have the S2's still but only one headphone works and they are more focused towards the bassy side so the S4's should be similar but better quality I'd guess.
