Hey, I mostly just listen to Classical Music and my budget is 150$
    So far i've looked at:
    Sennheiser HD 228
    ATH - M50
    Sony MDR V6
    ATH - M35
    ATH - M40FS
    Sony XB500
    Shure 440
    Fostex T50RP
    ATH AD700

Have any of you had any experience with any of these? I need them to be comfortable to walk with outside :)

Lots of experience. But don't know your preferences. For $150 you're going to get things that aren't hi-fi "flat" or neutral sounding. So you need to decide what you're willing to accept in that price range.

    Hi danymanny,

Have you looked at the Sennheiser Momentum On-Ears?

They are a great size and their sound would suit classical music.

    Not Sure...

I'm not an audiophile at alll... I have absolutely no experience with any "high - end" headphones at all so i'm not sure exactly what most of those terms mean... I basically want the best sounding headphones for classical music that i can get for under 150$, and they also need to be comfortable to walk outside with...

Thanks John but where I liive those aren't available... anymore suggestions? :)
ps. Thank you all for the fast reply :)

    for classical music?

I don't consider the M50 to be especially good for classical music, and the M50 is much better than the M35 or M40 series.

The Senn Momentum On Ear you can buy from hifiheadphones, and they subtract out the VAT when sending to the U.S., so the price is much lower. But if you insist on listening to classical music on a $60 headphone, look up the Fostex TH7 as follows:

Fostex TH-7BB Dynamic Closed Studio Headphones in Black (TH7BB)

BTW, I use the Senn Momentum On Ear - it's perfect for lots of genres.

I'm going to agree with dalethorn on this one. The Fostex TH-7BB will be a great choice!
