I am looking for a new pair of headphones and after spending 2 days searching I am stuck between 2 pairs. I have read positive reviews about both on-line but I am frying my brain trying to work out which to buy.

The specs look better on the Shure as they are bigger speakers, have a wider range and are louder but how much difference would they really be?

There is a video here where you can listen to the Audio-Technica phones and they sound pretty much the same as the Sony MDR-V55 I am currently using but I cannot find any samples of the Shure phones.
