Hi, I've recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 phone and am looking to upgrade the standard headphones for something much better in the £30-50 range. I need them for conference calls as well as listening to music...I noticed that many of the recommended in-ear phones with mic's are specifically for iPhones. Will they also work with Android phones ? I just need basic call on/off controls on the Mic....any specific recommendations ?

    Thanks

    Hi GraemeH

If you like a deep warm sound then these are good and should be fully compatible.

Klipsch Image S4A Isolating Android Earphones in Black (S4 A)
    £66.95

Not all earphones with mic would be compatible so you need to choose carefully.

There will be a Samsung only variation of this award winner very soon -

SoundMAGIC E10M Isolating Earphones with Apple Mic Black/Red
£49.99 - this is the current Apple version.

I believe there may be quite a big wiring difference so avoid 3 button made for Apple products.

    Hi Smarty

It appears you are very keen on getting these. Sorry to disappoint you on this but SoundMAGIC have told me that this project has been on hold and will re-start after Chinese New Year, that sounds like April at the earliest to me.:( Sorry.
