OK, so I've just bought a shiny new iPad 2 and am looking for some headphones for watching films and listening to music. Ideally I'm looking for some in-ear headphones that block external noise (I use the iPad on the train to/from work). I'm looking to spend upto £50.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi jimmyb

I would grab myself one of these new SoundMAGICs -

SoundMAGIC E10 In-Ear Sound Isolating Earphones Black & Silver
    £34.99

Really nicely made metal body with great cabling and metal 3.5mm adaptor - Excellent contemporary sound with full deep bass and pretty mids, level of detail is impressive at this price point.

SoundMAGIC E30 In-Ear Sound Isolating Earphones in Black
    £40.00

This model is slightly more neutral sounding so the bass is pulled in a little, better for Folk, Acoustic, Classical or any genre that benefits from a more neutral presentation. Pro over ear fit design, the E30 is nipping at the heels of the £120 Sennheiser IE6.

Pick the one which suits your musical tastes best :)

    Headphones for iPad

Yep, these two new SoundMAGICs can't be beaten under £70 and would be perfect headphone partner for an iPad. In fact I would say the E30 compares with some big brand headphones that cost around £120, e.g. Sennheiser IE6.
