    Hi everyone

I have a curious interest in hearing from any owners of the Jecklin Float Model 2 and your impressions of them.

I hear they present a beautifully lush soundscape with great mids.

I have a pair of these. They use dynamic drivers, not electrostatic ones, so they are comparable to other open-back dynamic headphones except that they hold the speakers slightly further from your ears and make you look silly. Soundwise they are very listenable and there is a good sense of physicality to the instruments, the bass is not especially deep but is tight, and the mids and highs are very clear and not grating. The problem with them I find is that when the music gets complicated there seems to be some confusion in the upper mids to lower treble, giving the effect of some smearing.

I don't have a lot of time now so that's just a quick opinion. I can give more detail if you're interested.
