    Hi guys,

I currently have a IPhone 3Gs 16GB and use the bottom plug for music (the high quality port)
through the Fiio amp then to the phonaks.

What i need to know is, what other phones have a HQ output and how would i connect the Fiio and phonaks to the phone? Do i need another crossover or would i be better sticking with iphone's?

I am looking at Iphone 4, Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, Play and Samsung Galaxy s2

    Any advice or experience?

    Hi Rob GTR,

The iPhone is the only phone with an output like this although Sony MP3 players also have a similar hidden better output. When using the iPod bottom dock connector you are accessing the line level output which is intended to connect to an iPod dock, so dock connector cables are in effect a mini iPod dock. Although many phones will have a dock connector of some sort these are normally just a data route and have no audio connections.

As far as I know it is an iPhone 4 for you then:)

A mobile phone shop would be a good place to ask, as there are normally around 400 models on the UK market at any one time only a mobile phone specialist will know for sure.
