Last time i read your reviews i purchased some Beyer Dynamic DTX101 which have just broken.

I have returned to your guide and seen the glowing reviews of the Phonak and Claritry one and wondered which one is better for me.

I use them mainly for the commute to work weither by tube or cycling and want a good range of sound and good bass as i listen mainly to progressive rock and various classical stuff.

    Any advice appreciated

ClarityOne are quite bright out of the box but settle down to a much mellower sound after about 30 hours (such a difference after burn in is quite odd for an IEM but they are loaded with some very individualo tech).

Once settled in they are a relaxed but impressive affair with more bass but less detail than the Phonak 012/112/122/132 range. If you want to sacrifice lower end warmth for more accurate highs and mids and more width in the soundstage or vice versa.:)
