    Hi,

Looking for some advice please. My shures have just bitten the dust, and am looking for a replacement to use, primarily with my HTC Desire mobile.

    My requirements are:

    - symmetric cabling
    - assortment of foam tips
    - inline microphone

I like the look of the Phonak PFE 022 but they don't come with foam tips and as far as I can tell there is no way of buying an assortment of ear tips, you have to get either S, M or L. Also, I don't really want to keep buying filters.

The 022s are pretty much at the top of my price range.

Any and all suggestions are welcome, thanks.

    Hi bob

You can use the excellent Comply foam T-130 tips with the Phonak PFE -

They are similar to the Shure Olive tips but slightly less dense, this means they Isolate slightly less well than the Shure tips (but still much better than basic silicone tips), but are more comfortable. They are heat reactive which helps them anchor into the ear for stability and a perfect fit. Like the Shure foam tips they improve any earphone they fit.:)
