I'm currently using a pair of Sennheiser CX 500 Gaming in-ear headphones but am curious as to how the SoundMagic E10's compare to them and whether they are worth the £35 upgrade.

    Any opinions are appreciated

I have never directly compared the two but from memory these should come across as very similar. You will not find anything at this pricepoint which is a huge improvement, the CX500 are quite good for the price and you cannot make a better driver if you are charging under £50. The SoundMAGIC E10 are pretty amazing for their money but it would be more of a sideways move to a product of the same quality and feel - the E10's certainly look nicer and the metal casing is a big plus for more clumsy users but for a serious sound upgrade you will need to spend a bit more.:)
