    hi,
I would like to buy a IEM earphones with good external noise insulation to use in public areas. I listen to classical music, jazz, blues, rock, a little metal and dubstep music. I can spend about 150 GBP.
for now I found three interesting models:

    Phonak Audéo PFE 112
    Hi-Fi Man RE-262
    Brainwavz B2.

what do you think about those earphones. do you have any othes sugestions?

    best regards

    Lukasz

    Hi Lukas

All three of these are pretty amazing for price to quality ratio. As your tastes are really wide it may be best to go for the most middling sound - Hi-Fi Man RE-262 have a bit of warmth and great detail. The Phonak Audéo PFE 112 is the lightest bass wise but has the best detail and soundstage. The Brainwavz B2 I have not heard for quite a while - I remember these being very similar in feel to the Phonaks. No headphone is going to suit such disparate genres of music equally but the Hi-Fi Man RE-262 are the middle ground for your tastes. I really like the Phonaks and the Brainwavs B2 though so... tough choice!:)
