Hi guys I am looking at getting a new set of cans, I want something that has great bottom end, but is good through the whole spectrum Ive been looking at the Steelseries 7H USB, Crossfade LP2, Sennheiser HD280 Pro, Sony MDR-V600, and hesitantly Bose AE2i I am open to more recommendations but I want specifics, not a million different suggestions I want it to be $200 or less They will be used with a computer, laptop, iPhone, iPod, and potentially an Xbox They will be used for music (rock, pop, classical, electronica, techno, dance, dubstep, country, etc...), watching movies/TV, and playing video games Basically I want something that is versatile, and sounds good, with great bass response Before suggesting new ones tell me which you would chose of the ones listed
Hi Green giant, These two fulfil all your criteria and are really nice to use as an all round set of cans. Shure SRH840 Professional Closed-Back Headphones (SRH 840) £149.95 Audio-Technica ATH-M50 Closed Monitor Headphones Coiled Cable £134.95 The Shure are technically a bit nicer as they have a replaceable cable and a tougher headband but I have found that many people prefer the M50 as it has a slightly better hold on complicated sections of music.
