Denon engineers conducted extensive tests in various user scenarios to produce ear pads that cover the ear with a gentle touch on the skin, a headband that achieves stable wearing comfort, and even cable lengths that suit individual scenarios.

Of course, plenty of attention was also devoted to audio technology. The driver unit is the heart of any headphone, and the one used in the AH-D1100 has a large diameter of 50 mm. These driver units, combined with Denon's acclaimed Acoustic Optimizer technology, have been carefully tuned by Denon technicians to achieve a clean, detailed sound with impressive ambient depth from the low to high range.
