Another superb product from Fiio.
This headphone amp is an upgrade to my existing Fiio E5 and I can honestly say it has made an improvement over the E5 which is excellent in it’s own right. There seems to be a bit more fine detail in the music. The sound quality is so good it is well worth the money paid. It sounds as good as amps costing many times its price. The nearest I have found is the ibasso T3 costing £119.00 I would also go as far as to say that in my much larger hi-fi system I have a Wadia 170i iPod transport with a Musical Fidelity V-DAC and V-PSU. The E11 gets very close to how that sounds it is truly amazing for such a little and well thought out little amp. I have done away with the 3.5-3.5mm cable that came with the E11 and have replaced it with one 0.5 m Atlas 3.5-3.5mm interconnect cable and the result is gold 5 star portable audio sound quality from my 160GB iPod classic. The build quality is also very good. The amp is housed with what looks like aluminum panels on both sides with the back panel that can be removed to replace the lithium Li-ion battery. This is a superb headphone amp! Just buy one you can't go wrong.
