I use a Graham Slee Voyager amp connected to an iPhone 3G with a SendStation pocket dock and a Nordost cable with Neutrix plugs. I use Sleek SA6 or Senn HD555 'phones. Voyager amp is very good. Have a look on the Head-Fi forums for more ideas (Hifi Headphones is a sponsor I think).
