Grado GS1000 - recabling & amping?
Does Grado GS1000 require purchasing better cable [e.g. Mobius etc or silver-gold cable] and a headphone amplifier to get best quality sound - or, given its price - is already equipped with components capable of delivering best quality sound without adding any paraphernalia?

GS1000 with headphone amplifier
The GS1000 is an incredible headphone without any specific upgrades, but as with all high end headphones a headphone amplifier is a worthy addition. The addition of a headphone amplifier gives more defined bass as well as extension and clarity in the mids/highs.
I think my favourite home headphone listening setup has to involve a Graham Slee Solo and Grado GS1000!  I'm afraid we don't have experience with recabling the Grado GS1000. |
