Default Bypass Headphone Jack

Hello,

I have an Ipod Video 30GB and my headphone jack is broken so I bought some cheap dock-audio adapter but it makes some noises(less with Treble Reducer)

Someone good experiences with one kind of adapter because I don't want to lose audio quality.

Default Bypassing iPod headphone jack

Bypassing the iPod headphone jack is normally the way to get the best sound out of the iPod, but you will need a headphone amp to drive headphones.

What kind of noise does it make? Is it irregular noises, or a constant sound? Is it a hissing sound, or some other sound?
