I am about to recieve delivery of a pair of ATH AD700's after reading fairly good reviews about the sound quality, unfortunately i didnt read about them being not very well fitting for some people, Aparently if you have a small head due to the phones not pivoting verticaly a small gap is present at the top of the ear which can affect the sound, I dont think i have a large or small head but am a little worried by this, i dont wish to return the headphones if i can help it, would inserting a little foam at the top of the pads help? Thanks in advance.

Yes, the Audio-Technica is a very big headphone and has a very soft grip headband. If you have a fairly regular sized head then it shouldn't be a problem.
At HiFi Headphones we have a 30 day money back warranty, so if you bought them from us make sure to open them carefully!
