Hello.
Should be receiving my new Sennheiser HD205 soon and was wondering do they need 'burning in'? If so, what sounds do I use and at what volume level please? Many thanks in advance! |

Burn in is simply the process of headphone drivers settling down. Depending on the headphone you will normally notice some initial harshness mellow out a little.
I normally recommend plugging the headphones into your music source, putting on your favourite music and enjoying your new headphones... this way you will have the opportunity to enjoy the headphones as the process occurs. No need for complex burn in processes in my opinion! Get on an enjoy your music
