Help Appreciated?

Hi all

I am looking to purchase headphones which will offer me best sound quality I can get for around £200 or so. I am a professional jazz musician (saxophone) and listen to a whole spectrum of styles, but mainly jazz/funk I suppose, with perhaps some classical too.

So, here is my situation- I have an ipod touch, which I would like to use these new headphones with, though I believe I will need to also purchase a headphone amplifier too, and I would also like to use them for sound/home studio (using Logic studio recording software).

I believe I have found a great pair of headphones on the Headphones.co.uk website. . . . . . . these are the Beyerdynamic DT880 Pro (Semi open) at £194.00.

It would be interesting to have any opinions or other suggestions regarding my setup.
