Whats the difference between Westone 2 and UM2?

The Westone UM2 is designed for professional use, so have a more linear and accurate sound signature. The Westone 2 is aimed at consumers, so has a more warm, bassy sound.

It's a bit of a funny distinction to make, as I think it's more about personal taste. Many people using the earphones to listen to MP3s on an iPod will prefer the more accurate sound of the UM2.

I was torn between the choice of those 2 as well and I eventually went for the UM2's. Amazing earphones. You won't be disappointed.
