Default monster turbine v monster beats tour

im having hard time to decide between monster turbine and monster beats by dr dre tour. my music source are cowon j3 and iphone 4, my old earphone was sony xb40ex which provide sweet bass and sound stage while i listen music and watch movies on both device. can anyone out there give me some advice to choose between these 2 earphones? seems like both of these phones are sounds similar, but how about the build quality? i saw some posts complained how easy to make turbine broken, but why it still sell alot in the market? any opinion?

Default Monster Turbine v Monster Beats by Dr Dre Tour

In my opinion the Monster Turbine is the better of the two. The Dr Dre Tours have WAY to much bass and not enough clarity (typical of Monster headphones in general).

There is so much hype about Monster headphones, but actually most of them are overpriced and poor quality. You can normally do much better with your money.

If you want big, well defined bass then I would recommend the SoundMAGIC E10. You'll save yourself a lot of money and will end up with an earphone that competes with the Turbines.

Give the Beats a miss, too much bass and they are so painful to wear, the worse ones I have ever bought.

I haven't tried the others but on shape alone I would opt for those.
