I have an HTC Sensation smartphone which is proving to be excellent in all dept's except one....... sound reproduction, volume and bass. I know it's not a bespoke MP3 player but a phone and accept that it will never produce any high end quality. However, I am seeking advice/recommendations for an optimum set of In Ear phones that will enhance volume, sound and in particular stable bass tones.
Will I need to introduce an In Line amplifier to achieve this?? £150-£200 budget. |

Do you know if the HTC has hi-fi sound? Most phones today like iPhone have very high quality sound that can be improved with an amplifier. But you need a good match of amp to headphone, and make sure to get proper connection, to get the best signal from the phone and not just the headphone jack output, which is not as good as Line Out or USB.
