I have not had the new iPhone for long but am already loathing the apple supplied headset, and as I am in need of a new pair of earphones overall I am looking to buy a good pair that would have a microphone integrated.
I am interested in the Ultimate Ears Triple.fi 10vi and I have a question, namely: if I use the Triple.fi 10vi on a non-iPhone-like device (like a normal iPod etc) will there be difference in sound quality between them and say a pair of the regular triple.fi 10? I know the question sounds rather silly, but I wanted to make sure. Thank you for your help. ---- PaulR |

Hello Paul... welcome to the forum!
Yep, I agree the standard Apple headset is a bit of an insult when spending so much on an iPhone. The Ultimate Ears Triple.fi 10vi and standard Triple.fi 10 are identical, except for the lead with microphone and call/audio control button. So there should be no difference in sound quality. There are no active electronics in the audio signal path, so sound quality is unaffected.
