Do I need a headphone amp
Hi - I have iPhone 4 and igrado & ultimate ears superfi 5vi phones. Whilst they sound very good would a headphone amp make much difference. Are the cheaper portable headphone amps worth considering eg FiiO E1 or FiiO E5. Thanks

The excellent Fiio E1 will give you a remote, a better volume control, better sound (as the line level signal from the bottom dock is better quality than the 3.5mm socket) and more headroom because of the amp.
