Question I want an IEM that sounds similar to B&W P5

Can anybody help? I recently bought a pair of B&W P5 headphones and am over the moon with them, but their size, sound leakage (and fear of being mugged for them) makes them impractical for my commute to work.

Can anybody recommend a pair of IEM that have the same sound characteristics of my P5's, or am I trying to compare apples with oranges?

Budget isn't so much an issue, I just want to get the right IEM's and if I have to pay a premium for them then so be it. But in saying that, if there is a star performer out there for less than £100 that would be excellent.

Many thanks in advance to anybody who takes the time to reply

Default Answer

If you like the sound of the P5's which i also own then i give you two choices, a cheaper one and an expensive one. Sennheiser MM80i or Sennheiser IE8i. Both solutions have in line remotes and microphones. The only catch is that after you have the IE8's you will possibly leave the P5's home for good
