Hello,
I am using UE Triple fi 10vi Pro, which its cable has a microphone on it and I want to use it on my laptop for Skype. So I bought this following item : 2 X 3.5mm Male to 1 x Female Stereo jack splitter cable 2 X 3.5mm Male to 1 x Female Stereo jack splitter cable: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics The product description says : The simple audio adapter allows you to connect any 2 x 3.5mm audio devices to create a single connection. For example, 2 Record Decks or 2 PC's into 1 pair of headphones or speakers. The adapter has a high quality stereo connection on both sides. Now I connected my earphone via the splitter cable to my laptop. But unfortunately I was not able to record any sound using Sound Recorder. The sound setting on my operating system (Windows 7 Ultimate x32) seems fine because I can record flawlessly when I connect separate microphone to the laptop microphone jack directly. I switched sides (Unlike the picture in the link, one jack is red coloured, the one other one white) Does anyone know a solution for this? Many thanks in advance. seol1500. P.S. Sorry about the title, don't think I can change that now
