Grado RS2 Description

The Grado RS2 headphones are high quality open back headphones and are part of Grado's Reference series.

The latest addition to the Grado family, the RS2 is the little brother of the RS1. The characteristics of the RS2 remain the same as it's distinguished big brother, with the hand crafted mahogany, but there is a smaller wooden air chamber. Although a miniature version of the RS1, they still maintain an overal sound that is pure Grado, warm harmonic color, full bodied vocals, excellent dynamics and ultra smooth top end. These truly are an audiophiles dream.

The Grado RS2 is very efficient & can be driven by the output of most portable players and home audio equipment. A good quality dedicated headphone amplifier will help improve the overall control and detail of the highs, add some heft and authority to the bottom end.  A headphone amp will also provide a slightly deeper, more expansive dimension to the RS2's soundstage image.

The RS2 will produce a sound that is pure Grado, warm harmonic colour, rich full bodied vocals, excellent dynamics and an ultra smooth top end.
