iBasso T4 Ultra Portable Headphone Amplifier. This little gem from iBasso with smooth dark grey and brown accents enables portable audio enjoyment without compromising on sound quality. Not only is the iBasso T4 powerful, it matches the size of a Zippo lighter making it ideal for on-the-go listening. With 4-channel architecture, the T4 delivers balanced audio that will allow your iPod or any other media device to convey the music as intend by the creator: powerful and undiluted.

Ideal for powering in-ear monitors (IEM) or portable on-ear headphones, the iBasso T4 transforms the line level signal of standard audio outputs to match the headphones requirements. This enables headphones to be driven appropriately by the T4 and results in a potent reproduction of sound without compromise. Adjustment of volume is achieved with the incorporated gain switch, which toggles between a maximum of +3dB and +10dB. With the volume wheel set at +3dB, amplification will not exceed +3dB when the wheel is at maximum. In addition the iBasso T4 also features a Bass Booster control switch enabling an increase of bass for those demanding musical peaks at the touch of a button.

Portable devices like the iPod often introduce distortion to the audio signal via the headphone output. This can be avoided by bypassing the standard output of the iPod with a dock connector cable, eliminating noisy signals and allowing for a clean audio signal. The dock connector cable is not included in the package and must be purchased separately.

Incorporated in the iBasso T4 is a rechargeable Li-polymer battery with integrated charging system and an estimated battery life of 24 hours. Charging of the battery is achieved either with USB cable directly from a computer, or with the supplied AC adaptor straight from the mains.
