Loving the Audeze Maxwell, they sound great and the battery lasts a long time. Not noticing any latency over the wireless connection and although the size adjustments aren't really quite right for my very small head the headphones are still very comfortable for long listening periods, though will probably be swapping out the cups for a different material because leather (authentic or synthetic) doesn't play well with my skin.
My only complaint is the lack of simultaneous playback - if listening via USB dongle, you cannot answer a call or listen to another device via bluetooth at the same time. The headphones will mute whatever is playing over the dongle and prioritise bluetooth audio, which can be a little annoying with the way Apple devices very aggressively reconnect to the last used bluetooth device even when not in use.

A to Hifiheadphones who were seemingly the only distributor with sufficient stock at the time of ordering and I had my unit 2-3 days before anyone else's listed delivery window, and it arrived in perfect condition.

Had been searching for a new wireless headset for a while and finally decided on the Maxwell after trying and returning competitors Turtle Beach and Steelseries.
The Maxwell is truly streets ahead in terms of sound quality and barring simultaneous bluetooth it does everything I need as a PC/PS5 gamer.
If, like me, pure sound quality is the most important thing to you then the Maxwell is the one to buy 100%

Special mention to Hifi headphones who shipped out the Maxwell the very same day and it arrived at 11am the following morning, excellent service and I'll definitely be returning in the future when it's time for something new.

After reading reviews of the headset, I was keen to try it out as my main gaming/music device. There's no denying that the sound is excellent. It is streets ahead of other headsets and it's not even close. The depth and warmth of the sound is incredible even without EQ. The software is OK, nothing special but it is sufficient. Build quality is good but I have read about some failures of drivers/earcups. The main issue for me is the sidetone. I find it really off putting to not have this so it rules out a few headsets immediately. Whilst this headset DOES have sidetone, it appears to have a significant issue with static/white noise. Whenever it is on, you get this static that is very offputting. After reading lots of community feedback online this is a very common issue and even appears to be a hardware fault (although plenty are still waiting for a firmware fix). I simply couldn't get on with this static and have returned the headset. This is where the 5 stars comes in, however, as the team at hifi headphones were nothing short of brilliant. Answered the phone 1st time in a handful of rings. Ben was helpful and polite and organised my return really fast. Steve messaged me when the headset arrived back at head office and my refund is now being processed. Nothing over-the-top or dramatic but it's so refreshing to just get good customer service and to trade with people who 'get it'. I won't hesitate to come back to them when I need to and recommend to friends.

My maxwell arrived with a manufacturing defect but the guys said keep hold of them until new stock comes in. I did just that and sent them back and got a new pair a few months later. They're incredible headphones, especially with music, possibly not the best for competitive online as there's better cans for imaging but I'll take the SQ, 80 hrs wireless use and build quality over anything else for playstation, at least until Audeze and Sony come up with a collab since Sony recently bought the company. Good product. Good service.

I received this headset a couple of months ago and they are amazing. I did encounter a software issue and sent them back for an exchange. The new headset is faultless. I’d like to give a shout out to Steve who took care of my return. He was really attentive and showed a lot of empathy and took care of the problem and it’s now resolved. Outstanding service!
