Final A5000

The development of the A series began with the establishment of a new evaluation method by analysing the relationship between sound quality and physical characteristics; the result was the A8000. The A5000 has further evolved that evaluation method. As a result of a new research targeting an evaluation method that matches the actual music listening situation.
The A5000 is equipped with Finals own f-Core DU driver, which was developed and designed entirely in-house, including parts and production equipment. In addition to the so-called "transparent sound" that allows you to clearly hear sounds that are localized at a distance, you can hear even the finer sounds in the mid-low range, giving each sound a sense of depth.
In addition, a newly designed 2-Pin soft silver-coated cable developed for the A5000 is standard equipment. The braided cable makes it easy to handle, and you can feel the A5000's sound even more clearly.
Seen as an upgrade to both the A3000 and A4000, the A5000 is an evolution of both. With added bass and even wider soundtage, it offers precision and clarity like neither that came before it.

A5000 is equipped with a powerful high precision ‘f-Core DU’ 6mm dynamic driver unit newly designed from the ground up to create high-quality clear and powerful sound.

To provide a better listening experience a pair of locking ear hooks are provided in the package that eliminate microphonic noise caused by touch friction and adds an extra layer of comfort for those long listening sessions.

Newly Designed 2-Pin Soft Silver Coated Cable
The attached cable is a newly designed product newly developed for the A5000. 8-core silver-coated OFC wire is woven into it, making it soft and easy to handle. The 2-Pin connector is a high-precision product developed in-house and uses the φ0.78 standard, which is considered to be the most versatile.

Another Final winner.

A5000 sounds ultra clear, is neutral-ish with meaty and punchy bass. I've had the A4000 for a couple of years and enjoy it but, find it a little thin and harsh with some music, the A5000 has a warmer, smoother tone with more full bodied bass, it sounds great with everything in my library and I listen to all kinds of stuff. The cable is very nice, soft with very little microphonic effect. Contrary to some reviews it is not hard to drive, the average phone headphone socket, iPod or cheap dongle will easily power it.
