Integrated with the IE 8 , is a durable, tough cable that can be interchanged to provide highest serviceability and flexibility. For pure comfort and simplicity different lengths and configurations of cables are available to suit your every requirement. High reduction of noise of up to 26dB is obtained with the supplied ear adapters, which come in three different sizes.
Like many high-end earphones, the IE 8 are to be worn with the cable going over the top of your ears. This ensures a more secure fit, but the IE 8 can be worn in the more conventional way quite comfortably, should you desire to.
To make sure your IE 8s from Sennheiser give you many hours of enjoyment, the luxury carrying case has been fitted with dry salt pads. These replaceable pads ensure a constant level of humidity of the Headphones when stored, this results in a longer life of the IE 8 by Sennheiser .
Professionals use the optimised over-the-ear system that is also incorporated in the IE 8 for stage and studio. You need not be a specialist to benefit from the Sennheiser's engineering proficiency; all you need is to plug them into your MP3 player or other gadget with 3.5mm jack plug and be prepared for an acoustic treat.
