The Sennheiser PXC300 are closed, dynamic, supra-aural mini headphones with the latest active noise compensation technology (NoiseGard^TM Advance). Passive and active noise reduction enable you to enjoy music even in noisy environments. Ideal for travelling: the PXC 300 is supplied with a protective soft case for storage and transportation.

Less stress due to less noise. Ambient noise, such as engine noise on long flights, is a big contributor to stress and fatigue. The Sennheiser PXC300 reduces this noise thanks to its closed design and its NoiseGard^TM noise compensation system, which you can turn on when necessary (ON). The NoiseGard^TM technology has been developed by Sennheiser and is now used in many cockpits throughout the world.

NoiseGard^TM active noise compensation is based on the principle of cancelling out sound in the low frequency range using counter-sound (inverse phase sound). To do this, tiny microphones record the ambient noise. The NoiseGard^TM electronics then create a sound wave, which is phase modified by 180° compared to the noise - which results in the two sound waves almost completely cancelling one another out. The music signal, on the other hand, is played back almost unchanged.
