Great sounding headphones
After getting fed up with cheap Sennheiser headphones breaking, I wanted to try a more expensive pair.
I like a wire that goes over the ear and the twisted cable on the UM1 is more comfortable and less noticable than an older pair of Shure headphones that I have.
Sound quality is fantastic. Gone is the muddy bass that cheap headphones seem to boost as high as possible, replaced by a really clear mid and high end. My listening styles vary from soundtracks to musicals to drum and bass and I'm happy with the UM1 for all of these.
Noise isolation is great too, I wasn't sure how well I would cope with the softer foam plugs (instead of plastic) but after using them for a week I have grown to really like the fit. The physical ear buds are very small and unobtrustive, which was a definite bonus over the current offerings from competitors.
I can't vouch for their long term build quality until I've had them a while, but I'm very impressed so far. Worth the money, more expensive models would really have to shine to justify spending over £100.

AMAZING, no seriously.
There are tons of reviews saying how more expensive phones like these UM1's sound amazing, but I wasnt exactly sure myself what the sound difference between my cheap sennheiser in-ear's and these babies was really going to be like until i wacked them into my laptop and played some flac. music files.
These headphones are extremely comfortable to wear, the comply foam ear tips give such a good seal you can hear the insides of your body when theres no music playing. the weight of the set it so light which adds to the compfort.
As for the sound quality, well you have to hear it for yourself really but what struck me was the separation of the individual sounds. I could hear parts of sonds I had not heard before, even when played on my fancy jbl speakers. The bass sounds clean and resonates like no headphones ive used before. Overal an excellent buy for anyone wanting to really hear their music!
