Shanling's most complex earphone project to date has taken shape in the ME700 hybrid driver earphones. Boasting hybrid design, unique dynamic driver with gold plating, custom balanced armature drivers, advanced crossover and driver positioning, and design and material of the nozzle, all coming together into Shanling's best sounding earphones.
Achieving high-end sound quality is not only about adding in more drivers. Pure 24K gold plating greatly improves the damping characteristics of the dynamic driver's diaphragm. Two bigger balanced armature drivers for the midrange and lower treble, with two combined balanced armatures for the highest frequencies, all customised for even higher performance focused on top-grade clarity and detail.
To make sure all five drivers are properly integrated and produce one coherent sound, ME700 utilised a triple-bore design. According to their frequency range, drivers are firstly split from each other and then positioned ideal distances from the nozzle, making sure that different frequencies arrive at the listener's ears at the correct time and without blending into each other. The result is a beautiful and natural sound.

Hi-Res Audio Certification
With the frequency response reaching all the way up to 40kHz, ME700 were awarded Hi-Res certification by the Japan Audio Society. It is recommended to use ME700 earphones with Shanling Hi-Res certified portable audio players to experience the full potential of high-resolution audio files.
High-End Standards
During the production of ME700, all parts and all assembly steps undergo a strict multistage testing process. Then, each pair of earphones get measured multiple times to assure the sound quality exactly matches Shanling's high standards. Shanling's channel matching on ME700 achieves two times better values than the earphone industry standard.
3D Printing Technology
Thanks to a database with thousands of scans of the human ear and extensive testing, Shanling are able to create a universal design fitting most user's ears, while providing a very secure and extremely comfortable fit.
Exclusive Welding Process
Adding just the right amount of silver and gold into the mix, Shanling's engineers managed to improve the welding process for better signal transmission, pushing the sound quality of ME700 even further.
