Etymotic ETY-Plugs HD are the world’s highest definition ready-fit earplugs that reduce noise to safe levels while preserving the clarity of speech and environmental sounds. ETY-Plugs HD are configured to replicate the natural response of the ear canal so that when sound enters the earplug, it is reproduced unchanged, exactly the same as the ear would hear it, only quieter.
Regular use of high-definition ETY-Plugs HD while operating machinery, power tools or loud vehicles will protect hearing from the cumulative effects of overexposure to loud noise throughout life. ETY-Plugs HD provide almost equal sound reduction of 20dB across the range of hearing.

High Definition
ETY-Plugs lowers sound levels evenly so that music and speech are clear and natural, not muffled as with other earplugs. ETY-Plugs HD reduce the risk of hearing damage outside of work from loud machinery, vehicles, power tools, sporting events and recreational activities
Hazard Free
Provides enough sound reduction in most settings to protect hearing, but keeps users aware of their surroundings. As ears do not overload the ETY-Plugs HD offer better hearing in noisy environments and reduce fatigue from long-term exposure to noise.
Standard Fit
Two sizes of ETY-Plugs HD fit almost 100% of ear canals. Recent studies of both fit and seal, conducted at Etymotic Research and an independent lab, showed that the smaller of the two sizes fits the majority of ears and is now designated as standard fit.
Reusable Design
ETY-Plugs HD are reusable, however with repeated use the eartips may lose elasticity. For best performance and retention, if you use your ETY-Plugs HD constantly, the eartips are best replaced every 3-6 months.
