The O400 journey began when Oriveti began a product verification review of the acclaimed O800 in ear monitors. The project goal was to deliver the high-definition and high-dynamic sound of the O-series through a reference-class IEM with a more accessible price range. Oriveti used the knowledge gained from developing their flagship O800 to achieve this for the new O400 reference monitor earphones.
As the development of the O800 was prolonged, the development of the O400 was sufficiently developed to implement a high-definition, high-density sound with perfect balance and heightened sense of dynamics. The natural sound of the Oriveti O400 lets users forget that they are listening through earphones. It gives you the same immersion as listening to the music in a professional recording studio.
Authentic audio heritage.
Three Knowles balanced armature drivers and one custom balanced armature Oriveti driver based on the design of the O800 drivers. All the drivers in O400 are carefully selected and the combination of the new drivers and Knowles drivers reproduce perfection in the frequencies. O400 used an innovative four-way crossover network that perfectly implements the sound delivery.
The housing of the O400 is based on the new housing shape of the O800 and handcrafted by the hands of qualified engineers. Oriveti's silver-plated copper cable is made of high-quality wires to prevent sound degradation. Oriveti use 0.78mm 2-pin connectors which are more durable for general purpose than MMCX.
As standard Oriveti supply a premium handwoven cable made from silver plated copper, high quality leather carrying case, adapters and different kinds of eartips to choose from. Oriveti also include AZLA SednaEarfit Xelastec eartips. Xelastec eartips offer an auto-fitting system based on body temperature to provide a snug, custom-like fit in the ear.
