I bought the refurbished E500. It arrived exactly as new and complete with the just the box in poor condition. I like the comfort and sound isolation of a small earphone which fits very snugly without ever feeling like an invasive medical device like Etymotics. The sound quality is very decent. As is typical in most budget IEMs there is far too much mid bass i.e. approximately the 100Hz to 800Hz range, but this is easy to remove with equalisation and apart from that the earphone's frequency response is very good and with the mentioned correction they are very natural sounding. These are quite sensitive so ideal for use with modern low power devices like smartphones. The cable has a useful slider/toggle and the earphone is easy to wear with the cable up and over the ear. There is a very good range of silicone tips, so you will definitely find a pair which suits. They are colour coded so you can quickly tell left from right when you pick up the earphones.
