FiiO D3 Coaxial/Optical to R/L Audio Converter (DAC) in Black. The FiiO D3 is a straightforward DAC that takes in coax and optical inputs and delivers out RCA analogue for devices with coaxial or optical output. A quick and easy way to convert digital audio output into high fidelity stereo analogue sound.

Fiio's D3 is ideal for interfacing between modern digital audio/video devices with analogue amplifiers or self-powered speakers. The D3 works with any playback source with an optical (TOSLINK) or coaxial digital audio output such as digital and HD televisions, satellite receivers, CD/DVD/Blu-Ray players and game consoles.

A top-notch DAC from FiiO

The FiiO D3 DAC is a little cracker. I have had it now for a few days and I have played all sorts of audio through it. It is nothing less than sensational for the money. It was purchased to complement my new Panasonic DMP-BDT310 Blu-ray player and it really has made an improvement to the sound. I already have a Musical Fidelity V-DAC and V-PSU connected to my hi-fi system and I am very impressed with the FiiO D3. The sound is open, airy and very detailed, so if you are looking for a cost effective way of improving any digital audio products such as CD, DVD, Blu-ray then look no further than this wonderful sounding DAC. It is astonishing value. It has a Wolfson WM8805 DAC chipset and can handle audio up to 24bit/192khz, unbelievable at this price. This is a superb DAC and will improve the sound on any system. I can't find fault with it at all and that is not to say that I haven’t tried!
