Specifically designed, low impedance transducers of the LCD-X will work with a wide variety of driving sources. From portable players to studio use, the LCD-X provides high volume without a headphone amplifier even though all LCD-series products benefit from a high-quality amp. Proprietary Fazor elements in the Audeze LCD-X help guide and manage the flow of sound in the headphone.
Audeze's LCD-X earcups are made from polished black anodized aluminium with sloped earpads of premium leather-free material. The earpads are designed with specially-crafted foam offering perfect firmness and absolute acoustic balance.

Each LCD-X driver is precision-crafted by hand in Audeze's Southern California facility. Using Audeze's patented engineering techniques and state of the art laser-etching technology, Audeze put great care into each step of the manufacturing process to ensure Audeze headphones meet the exacting audio and production quality standards.
3-Year Warranty
Audeze's warranty covers 3-years for the headphone drivers and 2-years warranty for all other parts. This warranty covers factory defects only, not wear and tear or cosmetic damage from use.
