Comfortable, Customizable Fit
The included Type E earpieces, designed for comfort and sound insulation, come in five sizes (SS/S/M/L/LL). Made with dual silicone materials of varying hardness, these earpieces ensure a secure yet gentle fit, reducing fatigue during long listening sessions. A silicone carry case is also included for convenient storage.
The Final A6000 IEM's are compact and lightweight and very well made, the surface finish feels very nice and provides a quality feel. The supplied copper cable with unbalanced 3.5mm terminal is also very well made. I prefer 4.4mm balanced terminal so I paired the A6000's with a copper balanced cable, (Liquid Links - Conti).
I have used the A6000's daily for the past few weeks and the following is what I experienced: Source's: Cayin RU9 (Classic Mode) & Luxsin X8
The sound experience is especially clear, concise and both natural with accurate presentation of instruments and voice. To me they appear to be very balanced with great extension in both bass and treble with very slightly forward mid's.
The soundstage is very good with both width, depth and height, whilst remaining intimate with vocals. I have been impressed with the level and detail and instrument separation. I found the A6000's very sensitive to recording quality, with some well recorded tracks sounding amazing with details I have not noticed before, this makes them exciting and fun to listen to. They are very revealing and this might be an issue with poorly recorded tracks.
I found the sound to begin with more sharp than I was used to, however as the hours of use increased they seemed to settle in really well indeed, (it seems in this case a break-in period does make a difference). The general presentation is light and airy and true to life and often I would find myself immersed deeply in the visualisation's good recordings can produce. Finding the right tips and size is essential to find what works for you. The tips supplied are very good, however I found that using my own memory foam tips worked well for me, Getting a good seal will make all the difference and provide the bass response that the A6000's can deliver, well controlled with good sub-bass).
I find it remarkable that such a small and well made small dynamic driver can eloquently deliver such extended detail and range, and for me using a warmer source's such as the Cayin RU9 and Luxsin with the right cable provide me with a real sense of joy in listening to music of many genres.
I tend to listen to Jazz, Vocal Jazz, Classical, Folk and some Electronic/Ambient mainly and for me the A6000's were Fantastic! They seem to be getting more impressive with time and they are now my go to IEM's. Thank you Final for creating them, they are great!
